Content Management
Websites are now essential tools for delivering important information to potential customers and clients alike, yet many sites suffer from out-of-date and stale content. Updating a site can be a complex task and more often than not will require the skills of a webmaster to carry out simple text changes. This can prove to be an expensive way of keeping a site up-to-date. Also a small text update, whilst important to you, may ultimately be further down your webmasters to-do list. With a content management system (CMS) you regain control of your sites content.
At First Instar we can install and set-up a simple CMS solution in either a brand new bespoke website, designed by ourselves, or into your existing website*. You are provided with a username and password which allows access to your sites content via a web interface. Pages can then be added or deleted easily and content edited via the text editor. You can also upload images and files such as pdfs.
* Installation into an existing website is subject to a site survey. Web host must be able to support PHP and MySQL database. First Instar offer hosting for £60 +VAT per annum.
